Guilt Free Chocolate Cake Recipe

Not gonna lie….I’m a choco-holic. But over the years I’ve found lots of ways to satisfy my sweet tooth and cravings while keeping my body and blood sugar healthy. 

This recipe is super easy and quick because it’s made in a mug! Yup, you can have a single serving of chocolate cake in 60 seconds or less. 

I know, does it get any better than that? Actually, it does! You can add your favorite flavor variations. Orange chocolate. Chocolate peppermint. Salted caramel. Chocolate raspberry. It’s all up to you.  

INGREDIENTS

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Mix all ingredients in a mug and microwave for 60 to 90 seconds. Microwave time depends on your microwave. I do 30 seconds. check it and add 30 more seconds. Some times it can be a little less, sometimes a bit more.  Experiment with your  microwave to get the best results. 

You can top with a spoon of peanut butter or a squirt of whip cream. Trader Joe’s makes a coconut whip cream that tastes delicious on this little cake in a mug!

VARIATIONS

1.  Add 1/2 tsp. Sugar-free Salted Caramel Syrup in place of Honey.

2.  Add 1/2 tsp Sugar-free Raspberry Syrup in place of Honey. Top with a handful of fresh raspberries.

3.  Add 1 Drop of Peppermint Essential Oil for Peppermint Mocha Cake. Or add some crushed candy canes on top before serving. 

OR  1 drop of Orange Essential Oil for Orange Chocolate Cake.
