Why energy healing alone may not change the patterns you keep repeating—and how Universal Laws can help you consciously create lasting change
Spiritual Healing With Universal Laws: From Chaos to Calm
How Does Spiritual Healing Work With Universal Laws?
Spiritual healing with Universal Laws combines energetic healing with an understanding of how thoughts, beliefs, unconscious programming, choices, and repeated patterns influence the experiences we create.
Energy healing may help shift what is held energetically, but lasting transformation often requires us to recognize and change the beliefs and patterns that continue recreating the same experience.
In this episode of The Place to Be Free Podcast, I talk with Cheyenne Bone about her journey from a deeply religious upbringing and years of hiding her intuitive and energetic abilities to discovering Universal Laws and learning how to consciously work with them.
We explore religious conditioning, fear, self-trust, energy healing, the Law of Polarity, conscious creation, and one of the most important realizations in healing:
It isn’t enough to experience a shift. We have to become capable of living differently.
Watch: Spiritual Healing With Universal Laws — From Chaos to Calm
Cheyenne’s story raises a much bigger question:
How much of the life you’re living is actually being consciously created by you—and how much is still being shaped by beliefs and programming you never consciously chose?
When Spiritual Experiences Conflict With Religious Programming
From an early age, Cheyenne could perceive things other people around her either couldn’t see or didn’t openly acknowledge.
She could sense energy.
She could perceive where people were holding pain.
She experienced angels and energetic shifts during prayer.
She could see the energy in a room change when people gathered in prayer and laid hands on someone who was struggling.
But she was also raised in a deeply religious environment where some of those experiences were viewed with suspicion or associated with sin.
That created an internal conflict.
Part of her could feel and see what was happening.
Another part had been taught to fear it.
This kind of conflict can create powerful unconscious programming.
When we’re repeatedly taught not to trust what we feel, see, know, or experience, we can begin disconnecting from our own inner authority.
When what you know inside conflicts with what you’ve been taught to believe, you can spend years trying to make yourself fit into a reality that no longer feels true.
Can Religious Conditioning Affect Healing and Self-Trust?
Religious, familial, and cultural conditioning can influence how much we trust ourselves by shaping which thoughts, feelings, experiences, desires, and parts of ourselves we believe are acceptable.
This doesn’t mean religion itself is inherently harmful.
It means any belief system can become limiting when it teaches us to distrust our own experience without allowing us to question the belief itself.
For Cheyenne, that conflict was especially strong.
She experienced energy and healing as something real.
Yet she also carried programming that told her those experiences might be wrong, sinful, or dangerous.
The result was a divided life.
One part of her was doing healing work.
Another part was hiding it.
One part knew what she was capable of.
Another part still wanted approval and permission.
This is how unconscious programming can continue influencing our lives long after the original experience has passed.
Why Energy Healing Alone May Not Change Repeating Patterns
One of the most important realizations in this episode came after Cheyenne had begun working full-time as an energy healer.
She was helping people.
They were experiencing energetic shifts.
They could feel better after sessions.
But she began noticing something.
Some clients kept returning with essentially the same underlying problem they had brought to her in the beginning.
That raised an important question:
If the energy shifted, why did the same pattern keep coming back?
Because experiencing an energetic shift is not necessarily the same as changing the deeper pattern that continues creating or reinforcing the experience.
If you return to:
- the same beliefs,
- the same thoughts,
- the same emotional reactions,
- the same expectations,
- the same behaviors,
- and the same unconscious programming,
you may continue recreating versions of the same experience.
This is where Universal Laws became an important missing piece in Cheyenne’s work.
If you keep thinking, believing, reacting, and choosing from the same internal pattern, changing the external circumstance alone may not create lasting transformation.
How Universal Laws Support Spiritual Healing
Universal Laws provide a metaphysical framework for understanding how consciousness, cause and effect, polarity, thought, belief, energy, choice, and action interact with our experience.
The important part is not simply knowing that these laws exist.
You have to learn how to apply them.
You can read about Universal Laws.
You can listen to podcasts about them.
You can understand them intellectually.
But intellectual understanding alone doesn’t necessarily change the pattern.
Transformation happens when you begin practicing these principles in your actual life.
You begin noticing:
What am I repeatedly thinking?
What am I believing?
What am I expecting?
How am I reacting?
Where am I giving my authority away?
What pattern am I practicing every day?
And most importantly:
What do I want to practice instead?
The Law of Polarity and Conscious Creation
One Universal Law discussed in this episode is the Law of Polarity.
Every experience exists within a continuum.
Light and darkness.
Hot and cold.
Fear and trust.
Scarcity and abundance.
Chaos and calm.
When we become completely focused on the condition we don’t want, we can continue giving our mental and emotional attention to that condition.
The Law of Polarity gives us another way to look at it.
Instead of continuously rehearsing what is wrong, we begin consciously directing our attention, thoughts, choices, and actions toward what we actually want to experience.
This is not about denying reality.
It is not pretending a problem doesn’t exist.
It is recognizing that constantly thinking about, talking about, fearing, and reacting to the problem may keep us internally identified with it.
Transformation requires practicing something different.
From External Healing to Personal Empowerment
Energy healing can create powerful shifts.
Meditation can help.
Prayer can help.
Reiki, crystals, energy medicine, spiritual practices, and other modalities may all have value.
But there is an important question:
What happens when you go home?
If someone else shifts your energy but you continue practicing the same beliefs and patterns that contributed to your old experience, what has fundamentally changed?
This was one of the realizations that changed the direction of Cheyenne’s work.
People needed more than something being done for them.
They needed to understand how to consciously participate in their own transformation.
That doesn’t mean we never receive help.
It means healing is not about permanently giving our power to the healer, teacher, practitioner, or modality.
The deeper goal is empowerment.
Awareness.
Self-trust.
And learning how to consciously participate in creating a different experience.
You Become What You Practice
One of the most important principles I share in this episode is:
We become what we practice.
If you repeatedly practice fear, fear becomes familiar.
If you repeatedly expect struggle, struggle becomes familiar.
If you repeatedly seek approval outside yourself, external validation becomes familiar.
If you repeatedly tell yourself that you have no control over your experience, powerlessness becomes familiar.
But a familiar pattern is not necessarily a permanent pattern.
You can begin practicing something different.
A different thought.
A different response.
A different belief.
A different choice.
A different relationship with yourself.
This is why Universal Laws are not simply spiritual concepts to learn.
They are principles to practice and embody.
It’s like learning a language or learning to play an instrument.
At first, you have to consciously practice.
Eventually, you reach a tipping point.
The new way of being becomes more natural than the old one.
Spiritual Healing Is More Than an Energetic Shift
One of the strongest insights from this conversation is the difference between experiencing a healing shift and becoming the person who can sustain a new pattern.
You can have a beautiful healing session.
You can feel lighter.
You can experience an emotional release.
You can receive energy work.
You can have a profound spiritual breakthrough.
But then you return to your life.
If you immediately return to the same unconscious beliefs, fears, expectations, and behaviors, the deeper pattern may still be active.
This is why lasting change requires participation.
It requires awareness.
It requires practice.
And it requires a willingness to recognize where you may still be living according to programming that no longer serves you.
Healing is not simply about having something removed.
It is also about becoming capable of living differently.
From External Authority to Inner Authority
Another major theme throughout this episode is authority.
Who gets to tell you what is true?
Your family?
Religion?
Culture?
A healer?
A spiritual teacher?
Your past?
Or can you learn to listen inwardly, question what you were taught, and develop your own relationship with truth?
Cheyenne spent years living between two identities.
One was the person she believed she was supposed to be.
The other was the person she knew herself to be.
She worked as a truck driver in her family’s business while quietly doing healing work outside of it.
For years, those two identities existed separately.
Eventually, they could no longer remain divided.
Her transformation required her to stop waiting for permission and begin trusting what she knew within herself.
Many people reach a similar point.
Continuing to live according to old programming eventually becomes more painful than changing.
That moment can become the beginning of freedom.
What Is Conscious Creation?
Conscious creation means becoming more aware of how your thoughts, beliefs, expectations, choices, actions, and repeated internal patterns influence the way you experience and respond to life.
It does not mean controlling every event.
And it does not mean blaming yourself for everything that has ever happened to you.
It means recognizing that you are not powerless.
Your thoughts matter.
Your beliefs matter.
Your expectations matter.
Your choices matter.
Your actions matter.
What you repeatedly practice matters.
Universal Laws give us a framework for looking at these patterns differently.
Instead of asking only:
“Why is this happening to me?”
we can begin asking:
“What am I practicing, believing, expecting, or repeatedly choosing—and what would I need to practice instead to create something different?”
That question changes your relationship with your life.

Begin Looking Beneath the Pattern
If you keep experiencing the same health symptoms, emotional patterns, fear, struggle, or limitations despite everything you’ve tried, there may be something deeper beneath the surface.
The first step is understanding why the pattern is still there.
What have you been practicing without realizing it?
What did you learn to believe?
What are you still carrying?
And what needs to change for you to experience something different?

Frequently Asked Questions
Spiritual healing with Universal Laws combines energetic or spiritual healing with an understanding of how consciousness, thoughts, beliefs, choices, and repeated patterns influence our experience.
Rather than relying entirely on someone else to create a shift, this approach emphasizes becoming aware of the patterns you are practicing and consciously participating in your own transformation.
How Do Universal Laws Support Spiritual Healing?
Universal Laws provide a framework for understanding how concepts such as cause and effect, polarity, consciousness, attention, belief, and action interact with our experience.
In spiritual healing, they can help us move beyond temporarily shifting energy and begin recognizing and changing the deeper internal patterns we repeatedly practice.
A person may experience a meaningful energetic or emotional shift while still returning to the same beliefs, expectations, behaviors, and reactions afterward.
If those deeper patterns remain unchanged, similar experiences may continue to repeat.
This is why awareness, conscious participation, and practicing new patterns can be important parts of lasting transformation.
Energy healing can support meaningful shifts, but relying entirely on someone else to change your energy may not address every belief or pattern influencing your life.
Lasting transformation may also require awareness of your own thoughts, beliefs, choices, reactions, and behaviors—and a willingness to practice something different.
The Law of Polarity describes opposite ends of a continuum, such as light and dark, hot and cold, fear and trust, scarcity and abundance, or chaos and calm.
In personal transformation, this principle can help us recognize when our attention has become completely fixed on an unwanted condition and consciously begin directing our thoughts and actions toward what we want to experience instead
Unconscious beliefs and patterns learned through family, religion, culture, childhood experiences, and repeated emotional responses can influence how we interpret situations, make decisions, respond to stress, and relate to ourselves.
Much of this programming can operate automatically until we become aware of it.
Recognizing the pattern gives us an opportunity to begin practicing something different.
Religious conditioning can affect self-trust when a person has been taught to fear, suppress, distrust, or feel shame about their own inner experiences.
For some people, religion is deeply supportive.
For others, certain teachings or interpretations may create conflict between what they have been taught to believe and what they internally experience as true.
This episode explores how that conflict affected Cheyenne’s ability to trust her own intuitive and energetic experiences.
Universal Laws can provide a framework for becoming more conscious of how your thoughts, beliefs, expectations, choices, and actions influence your experience.
Knowing the laws intellectually is not enough.
The transformation comes through applying them consistently and practicing a different internal and external response until a new pattern becomes more natural.
“We become what we practice” means that repeated thoughts, emotional responses, beliefs, choices, and behaviors can become familiar patterns.
If we want a different experience, we have to begin practicing something different.
Over time, repeated practice can create a new way of thinking, responding, choosing, and living.
